Training Workshop for Editors-in-Chief of Scientific Journals at University of Chlef: Challenges and Solutions for Meeting International Standards

نظم مخبر تكنولوجيا الإعلام والاتصال في تعليم اللغات الأجنبية والترجمة بكلية اللغات بجامعة الشلف برئاسة الدكتورة بوخلف فايزة، صباح اليوم، ورشة تكوينية بإشراف الأستاذ الدكتور شايب بشير، ممثل Crossref في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، لصالح رؤساء تحرير المجلات العلمية بجامعة الشلف، وبرعاية نائب مدير الجامعة لما بعد التدرج، الأستاذ حسين أحمد. شهدت الورشة حضورًا واسعًا من رؤساء التحرير، ووفرت فرصة مهمة لتسليط الضوء على أبرز التحديات التقنية التي تعيق تطوير المجلات العلمية، كما أتاحت النقاش حول سبل ترقية المجلات المحلية للارتقاء إلى المعايير العالمية. نتوجه بجزيل الشكر لكل من حضر وساهم في إثراء النقاش وإنجاح هذا اللقاء المتميز.

TICELET Laboratory, chaired by Dr. Faiza Boukhelef, organized a training workshop on 5^th/11/2024 supervised by Professor Dr. Chaib Bachir, Crossref representative for the Middle East and North Africa, for the editors-in-chief of scientific journals at the University of Chlef. The event was inaugurated by Professor Hocine Ahmed, the University’s Vice -Rector for Postgraduate Studies.

The workshop witnessed wide participation from editorial board members and provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the main technical challenges hindering the development of scientific journals. It also facilitated discussions on ways to improve local journals to meet international standards.
