Journal of Languages & Translation

Preamble

The Journal of Languages and Translation endeavours to demonstrate itself as a hub for publishing high-quality theoretical and empirical papers with qualitative and/or quantitative bases that critically investigate linguistics, literature and translation studies. The aim of the journal is to render a venue for language researchers and practitioners to share theories, views, research results and classroom practices in those fields.

The current collection of peer reviewed articles deals with various issues encompassing languages and cultures in a multilingual world. Because human communication is complex and pivotal for international cooperation in diverse disciplines and occupations, respectively, considerable aspects are covered and presented in papers adopted for this issue. The papers in languages, translation and linguistics sought to explore answers about how the fundamental human capacity to communicate in one language can be transferred effectively into target languages across various contexts-academic, literary, linguistic and journalistic. In fact, some papers of this issue reveal how the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has also exerted massive pressure on online translation/ teaching.

Editors of this volume are certain that publications on languages and translation have contributed to interdisciplinary approaches that characterize contemporary research on translating languages and published articles may be of interest to both prospective specialized scholars and professionals of the field.
