Target Group: Permanent teaching staff from the Department of English and the Department of Arabic Language.

The University of Hassiba Benbouali of Chlef (UHBC) is pleased to launch a call for applications for staff mobility for teaching at Ankara University, Turkey, within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme.

This call is exclusively open to permanent teaching staff working in the Department of English and the Department of Arabic Language. This mobility opportunity supports the professional development of teaching staff through delivering lectures, conducting seminars, and engaging in academic collaboration at the host institution.

  • Host Institution: Ankara University (Turkey)

  • Activity Type: Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA)
  • Eligible Participants: Permanent teaching staff from:
    • Department of English (3 staff members)
    • Department of Arabic Language (3 staff members)
  • Mobility Period: After 8 May 2026
  • Duration: 5 working days + 2 travel days
  • Internal UHBC Deadline: 26 March 2026

Purpose of the Mobility

The teaching mobility aims to:

  • Strengthen participants’ pedagogical, academic, and intercultural competences;
  • Promote the exchange of best practices in teaching and curriculum development;
  • Enhance academic cooperation between UHBC and Ankara University;
  • Provide opportunities for collaborative teaching and research activities.

Activities may include:

  • Delivering lectures and seminars to students at Ankara University;
  • Participating in academic discussions and teaching methodology workshops;
  • Observing teaching practices and engaging with faculty members;
  • Exploring potential collaborative projects and joint research initiatives.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit a single PDF file containing all the following documents:

  1. Copy of a valid passport
  2. Motivation letter (in English)
  3. Curriculum Vitae (Europass format recommended)
  4. Installment PV (Procès-verbal d’installation)
  5. Proposed teaching program or lecture topics (brief outline)
  6. Any additional supporting documents (if applicable)

 Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Selection Process

The internal selection will be carried out by the UHBC Erasmus+ Committee in a fair, transparent, and merit-based manner, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.

Selection will prioritize:

  • Academic qualifications and teaching experience
  • Quality of the motivation letter and proposed teaching program
  • Previous international experience (if any)
  • Contribution to the internationalization of UHBC
